This FRANKLIN family resided in Osage County, KS, circa 1892-1910. During most or all of that time they lived on the farm of widow Emeline WILLIAMS in Osage Co. Alvin Peter FRANKLIN was born in Kansas about 1871, but I am not sure what county. Daughter Minnie "Jean" married William Roy SMOTHERS circa 1922 in Los Angeles, California.
