I am in hope that Hill surname listed in your Query is the same family I am in search of information. My great-great grandmother is Nellie Cynthia Hill born 3 July 1867 in Lawrence, Kansas. She was married to Peter Lewis Burwell in Lawrence, Kansas. Her father is George Forrester Hill and I have her mother as Mary Pierce. Any information would be very appreciated. It has been passed down through the years that her family owned a general store in the middle of Lawrence and as a child she watched the" James Gang" rob a bank across the street as she was standing in there home above the store.
