I am desperately trying to locate my ancestor Clay SMITH. He is listed in the 1880 census of Doniphan Co., Wayne township, Kansas, with his wife Eliza and two children, Florance and Allie.

Clay SMITH was 27 years old at this time and I do not know what happened to him. His family turned up in Arkansas, and his wife was re-married. Did they divorce or did Clay pass away?
