I am searching for any info regarding William (AKA: Bill)FORREST (b: 1869 somewhere in KS d: 11-9-1916 in Bartlesville, Washington County, OK) married on 5-21-1905 in Allen County, KS to Edith May SMITH (b: 5-7-1884 in Linn County, KS d: 8-31-1922 in Bartlesville, Washington County, OK).

Marriage license was issued in Iola, KS and states that Edith was from LaHarpe, KS.

William most likely had been married prior to Edith considering he was 36 years old and she was 20 years old at the time of this marriage. Since not many men waited that long to take a wife, it could be that he had a previous marriage.

The 1910 Fawn Creek Township, Montgomery County, KS census info shows:

William Forrest - 41 years old - Married 5 years - Born in Kansas. His father was born in the USA and his mother was born in Ohio. He is listed as a general farmer. This census lists Edith as 24 years old - married 5 years.

Would anyone have a William or Bill FORREST that would match this info or have any information regarding his previous marriage, siblings or parents??
