ATHEARN, Mary E. (Matie) attended first grade in Fall Creek, Greenwood County, KS, in 1884. I have her schoolbooks which are McGuffey's Readers. I bought them 25 years ago in an antique store in northern Oklahoma. I would like to hear from someone who knows about the life of Mary (Matie).
