Trying to locate information on the family of Edward F. Dauphin and Magdalena Saddler who came to Douglas and the Arkansas City, Kansas area back in about 1876 from Carroll County, Illinois.
1)Arthur Everett Dauphin lived at 501 N. "C" Street, Arkansas City, Kansas 67005 in 1978. He was living in Arkansas City as far back as 1957. He is my mother’s half-nephew.
2)Edward F. Dauphin, at age 21, took part in the Cherokee Strip Opening back in 1893. He returned to Illinois about 1900. He is my mother’s uncle.
3)Max Dauphin lived in Quinlan, Oklahoma in 1957. He is my mother’s uncle.
