I found today that an ancestor was listed in the 1880 census as living with his daughter Nancy and Henry Denison. They had listed 2 children: Loella and Robert. James Tweedy was born in March 15, 1823 in KY. He married Jane Terhune in 1846 in Ill. They moved from there to Iowa and then on to Kansas. It seems that several of James's children eventually settled in Kansas also. Mostly daughters. He was listed as a widower at the time of the 1880 census. I do not know if Jane left iowa for Kansas before she died or not. The census info said Menoken, Shawnee County, Kansas. Does anyone know any facts about this family or the whereabouts of James and his wife Jane's burials? I assume James died in the area and I don't know about Jane at all. Thank you
