I'm Brit from North of Norway searching for descendants after Mary Johnson 1860/61-1943. She was born in Norway, immigrated the States 1887. She lived many years in Topeka/KS, but her last residence was listed to be Eureka. When she died as a widow, she was mentioned to be related to Mrs.Tom Forbes, Dtr. Now I try this site hoping to find living relatives in Greenwood county. What I know is that Mary had two daughters, Astrid(Austrid?) and Signe(Signa?), both born in Norway, 1883 and 1884. I'm certain of that Mary gave birth to several children after settling down in Topeka. Maybe two of them were named Marie or/and Ruth?
