Looking for any information on my gr. grandmother, Cora Bales born 27 Nov 1874 in Ray or Caldwell county Missouri. Her parents were Pleasant M. Bales and ??? Peterie/Petree. Her mother died soon after her birth and she was sent to live with maternal grandmother in Stafford, Rice, and Reno county area.
She married Roy Leighton "Leat" Shipler 26 Feb 1893 and they lived in Rice and Reno counties until around 1917 when they moved to Crowley Colorado to operate a grocery store and cafe.

All efforts to verify mother and grandparents names have ended nowhere. Mothers name may have been Alice or Ellen. Grandmother may have been Melissa Peterie. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
