Samuel Wescott TRUMBULL and his wife Harriet Townsend WELLS TRUMBULL came to Iola, Allen Co., Kansas in 1867. Harriet died there on August 25, 1870, age 72. Would like to know where she was buried. Samuel died April 2,1877, at age 87 of pneumonia, and his daughter Calista Trumbull THRALL, died April 5, 1877, at age 45, also of pneumonia. Both succumbed from exposure during a buggy ride in extreme weather. Was Calista THRALL buried in Iola? Samuel, for some unknown reason,was buried in Mulberry, KS, on April 3(?), 1877.
