Hi my name is John Edward Buck and I am a descendent of Hiram C. Buck and Abigail Adlia Potter. They lived in Portis and had some land holdings there around 1871 I believe. Then they moved to Smith County and homesteaded on 160 acres near Crystal Plains Smith County KS. They are buried in the cemetery adjoining the Crystal Plains Church.
