Dear Von:

Thank you very much for the info! Eliza Clevenger was my
great-great-grandmother through her daughter, Flora Garrison.

As you know, Eliza Clevenger moved to Graham County, North Carolina with her husband, William H. Garrison, and most of their children remained in that area, except for the oldest son, Ira, who settled in Alabama.

Eliza's daughter, Flora, married my great-grandfather, William Millsaps. Flora died around 1916, when my grandmother, Ebba Millsaps was a teenager. I do believe that Eliza went back out west and lived in Kansas sometime around 1908 or earlier, so my grandmother had very little memory of her grandmother and very little was passed down.
The last info I have on Eliza was that she was living in Cherokee County, Kansas around 1909.

My grandmother and her husband moved to Monroe County, Tennessee in 1927, and that is where I now live. I have a son who is stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, and I went out last spring when my new granddaughter arrived. I tried to do a little genealogy research there at the library in Junction City but time was limited and so were census records there so I didn't get much accomplished.

Any information you could send me would be very much appreciated by the family. We do have one family photo of her but the rest of the info I have obtained from pension files of William Henry Garrison.

Is there any info on Eliza's father?

Again, thanks so much.
