My great grandfather George Nelson Goldsberry dropped dead on Fourth St. between Delaware and Wyandotte Streets on Sat. 22 April 1899. His body was taken to the Carroll Undertaking Establishment which was active up to about 1955. No relatives were reached before he was buried. He possibly was buried in a potters field. His death cert. was obtained from MO, but no records of his burial can be found. We have been told that cemeteries in Kansas City, KS were often used in those days. Does anyone know of 1899 cemeteries and burial records ? Where are the old records of the Carroll Undertaking establishment.
