I'm looking for anyone with info as the Kling,Kansas and also it's post office being named Kling in 1908-1920. I'm am doing research for the National Baseball Hall of Fame as to the Famous Chicago Cub's catcher,Johnny Kling, 1900-1910. He was Jewish and born in Ohio in 1875. His wife Lillian's family was from the general area around Medicine Lodge, But is not from Barber County as to records that I've found. Even the name Kling has not shown up in the County census reports during this era. If anyone knows anything or had family members living in Barber County from 1850-1920, who's name was KLING?
