Searching for information on the family of Squiar Owens or Squire Owens and wife Leucina or Luscina. Both were born around 1812 in KY. They married in 1831 in Bartholomew Co., IN, and moved around 1840 to Marshall Co., IN. Around 1869 they moved to Franklin Co., KS, for about 18 months then to Wilson Co., KS, until 1878 and then to Labette City and Parsons, Labette Co, KS, where they remained. Squiar died 4 April 1888. Leucina died in 1899. Squiar was a Union Soldier in the Civil War.
