I am seeking information in the years 1880-1890 on a family named Mckenzie. Father was Daniel Mckenzie and his wife was Catherine Stalker. They came to Rice county in the year of 1880 and their daughter Catherine Stalker McKenzie married a John Bussey in 1880. Daniel died in 1884 and is buried in the Eastside Cemetary, Hutchinson. I would like to find out about a death certificate and if there was an obituary or will done. Records are scarce at this time I know! Also, his widow Catherine Stalker married a Dougal McArthur in 1885 and he died in 1895 and is also buried at the Eastside Cemetary, Hutchinson Kansas. I need help in finding information during these years. A son John Stalker Mckenzie went into business in Hutchinson and I have several family photos made at a place that says Sam't Hurst on the bottom of the picture. Is there any way that the museum may have files on this place or old negatives? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Richelle Buckles
