I have been trying to locate my ancestors who came to this area from Illinois. Antoine Louis Lambert came to Clyde from Kankakee, Illinois in the early 1890's, where he worked in a store. He married Melvina Girard in 1893 and a short time later moved to Concordia, Kansas where they lived for the rest of their lives. They raised 7 children in Concordia.
I am trying to find the Ancestors of Antoine Lamberts father.
I think Antoine's father was also also named Antoine and his wife was named Catraine (Catharine ?). Antoine senior in 1880 had 4 children, Marie, Antoine.Phillipe, and Adelard. I would like to find out more about Antoine sr. and his family, descendents and ancestors.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
