I wonder if anyone has any ideas on the following - or maybe could point me in the direction of a KS Genealogist who might?

I'm looking for any ancestors of some descendents of mine by the names of Rachael Nicholson and Annie Montague who both lived in Reserve, Brown County, Kansas in the late 1800's/early 1900's.

Rachael was born in Wales in 1867, daughter of Elias Jones and Mary Griffiths. I think Mary died some time after and Elias and Rachael together with her two sisters Annie and Hannah and brother John, emigrated to the US. They left behind a brother and 3 half brothers.

After arriving in the US, Rachael married Joseph Nicholson on Aug 19th 1891. Joseph was 28 when he married and came from Missouri and his parents were John Nicholson and Mary Cox.

Rachael and Joseph had two daughters Minnie and Jennie Nicholson.

Rachael's other sister also lived in Reserve, Brown County at the same time. I don't know much about Annie although I know she had a daughter called Blanche.

To complete the picture, they had another sister called Hannah (Jones) Martin who lived in Johnson County, Nebraska. And a brother called John Jones who lived in Ellis County Oklahoma.

I guess I'm looking for any living descendents of the last known family members: Minnie and Jennie Nicholson and Blanche Montague, all of whom would have been aged 9 or under in 1900.

Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

Regards

Ian Jones
