My great grandfather's brother, Isaac Barr, came to Doniphan as an apprentice printer for Thomas Key on the Kansas Constitution in 1856. He returned to Alabama 2 days before his term of apprenticeship ended. Do any of these newspapers still exist in the county or state archives? Can anyone tell me where the newspaper office was located in Doniphan?
