I am searching for information on Robert Weaver who is listed in the Cowley County Heritage book pages 262-3 under the bio of Ruby F. Pickens. She noted his family moved to NY from Netwon Stewart Scotland in 1849, he then brought over his sweetheart and they m. and moved on to Cowley Co. My g.g. grandmother Agnes (Weaver)Kyser was brought to NY in 1849 from Newton Stewart Scotland at the age of 7. She m. Lynus Kyser and they eventually moved to Grenola, Elk Co, KS. I am suspecting that Robert was Agnes' older brother. I have not been able to locate any info on Agnes family other than census records that noted Sarah Weaver (her mother?) Mother in Law living with the Kysers on year.
Any help would be wonderful. I would like to share what I have as well.
