I am seeking information on John N. BATES and Martha E. [BURNS] BATES
The last bit of information I have is from the 1920 Census
They were located in Kansas, Smith Co., Oak Township

John N. was Age: 88 born: Germany and immigrated to USA 1848
Martha E. Wife, born 18 March 1840 in Ohio
Below are listed five of the reported 13 Children:
Mary Bates b: Abt. 1865 Indiana
William Bates b: Abt. 1869 Indiana
Daisy Josephine Bates b: 6 June 1875 Nebraska
George Bates b: Abt. 1879 Kansas
Marion P. Bates b: August 1882
