I'm trying to do my family tree on the Secor side. It seems my grandfather was born to Raymond J. Secor and May Walker in 1919 in Topeka, KS. I was told as a little girl that we are Choctaw Indian, although I've also heard Apache His birth certificate states that William J. Secor was born in Witchita/T__opeka, KS, his father Raymond J. was born in Poughkeepsie, NY.

I've been told great grandpa Raymond remarried in Kansas. My grandfather would not really talk about his childhood because he was placed in a few children's homes.

I'm trying to find out the Native American ancestry.
