I would sincerely appreciate any help in finding out my grandpa's place of origin and possible birthplace and birth name. He told me, he remembered growing up in Olpe KS with his dad, mom and four brothers. His birthdate of record on his death cert was 1896. No other info. But his recollection was that he didn't think that was his real family. I have his dad's name, but how do I go about finding out if he came on the Orphan Train or the place of his birth.
