Would like to hear from members of Wesley W. Davis' family.
In 1880, Wesley W. Davis, b. 1833, TN and wife Lucinda, b. 1833 in IL were in Bourbon Co. with their children: James J.[Jonathan or John W.]b. 1863; William E. b. 1867 and Frances L., dau, b. 1872. All three were born in Missouri. By 1895, John W. married Georgiana Henderson in Sedgwick Co. and had children: Laverne, Maurice and Glenn. Georgiana died in 1904 and Glenn was adopted by his uncle William E.
who lived in Wichita with his wife, Mary C. and their children: Lawrence L., Ethel M., and Warren M. By 1920 William E. was an insurance agent in Wichita. Jonathan was in Fremont Co., CO in 1920 but later moved to San Luis Obispo Co., CA where he died in 1943. Georgiana (Henderson)Davis is buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Bentley in Sedgwick Co. I know nothing more of Wesley W. and Lucinda at this point.
