I have run across the name of this town several times in my research of Osage County.
I thought I could put my hand right on the information but can't find it at this point.
I do believe it was spelled "ARVILLA", and it seems to me it was only in existence for a very short time.
I am surprised of it being there still in 1886.
I thought it was began somewhere in the 1860's.
I know this isn't much help, but I do have the information and will let you know as soon as I find it.
