Benjamin F. HAMILTON was born in Pottsville, Pa., July, 4, 1825, and died May 10, 1898. In 1845 he married to Elizabeth NAHRGANG who died in 1866. In 1846 he united with the Mennonite Church. In 1866 he married Catherine HOLLEY. To this union there were born six sons and three daughters.
In 1883, moved to Cherokee Co., Kansas; from there he came to Marion Co. where he lived until his death.
Catherine HOLLEY, was born in Holmes Co., Ohio, May 1, 1841; died at the home of her son, Ira, near Newton, Kansas., Sept. 20, 1918; Buried at the Catlin Church near Peabody, Kansas. Any information about this family or where their graves are, would be appreciated.
