If there is anyone that has a transcription of the 1860 Allen Co., KS. Census, and the 1865 Kansas State Census, could you please check for the household of Robert and Tabitha BIRLEW.

The BIRLEW name is often found transcribed incorrectly as BIRLEU, BIRLEN, BERLEW, BERLEN, BERLEU, and often written incorrectly by the census taker as BALEW, BALLEW, BELEW, BELLEW, BALOU, BIRLIEW, BERLEW, etc.

Also, supposedly living next door to the BIRLEW family, or nearby, in the 1860 Census, is a household that should contain John Anna/Johnanna Grace PEAY born 1848 AR., and William Walter PEAY born 1853 AR.. I do not know who will be head of household. Supposedly, they were living with their grandmother, and her surname may have been MONTGOMERY or GREER. Her given name was Caroline Elizabeth. But, the PEAY children should be listed with the PEAY surname, no matter who is head of household.

Many thanks for any assistance. Any information will be so greatly appreciated.
