I rescue old photos from antique shops and auctions. I recently acquired six photos dated 1908-1917, written by a lady, who signed most of them, "Aunt Ida and Uncle Birt". One photo postcard is addressed to Mrs. Abe BOTTIGER of Denton, KS. Post date December 27, 1913. Another one is addressed to Mrs. Anna SWAIN of White Cloud, KS. Ida and Birt are the subjects of most of the photos, except one Norman SWAIN standing in front of four horses. Aunt Ida lived in Omega, OK, Greenfield, OK and was in California for a time. One card written to Baby BOTTIGER and dated July 5, 1917. Another to "Baby Charles".

This is an interesting correspondence between Aunt Ida and family back in the mid west. She's on a horse, laying in a "bathing suit" on the beach, standing on steps in front of a house in Los Angeles, with a Sailor also in the picture. This one is "to Annie and Norman" (SWAIN-I presume.)

If it sounds familiar, please contact me. I'll send scanned images to anyone requesting it. I'd like to find family members interested in having these treasures. All I ask is what I paid for them, postage and cost of a sturdy mailer.
