I am searching for any info on this family or related family members of the Charles Henry Peterson and Nancy Zinn family that once resided in the town of Bushton, Rice County, Kansas. The are my G, G, G, Grandparents who settled in the town of Bushton in May of 1874. The Charles Henry Peterson property was last owned by a family by the last name of "Habinger". The Charles and Nancy Peterson children include: John Joseph Peterson (my G, G, Grandfather), Samuel M., Mary Jane, Charles Henry Jr., Lydia Ann, Alburtus H., Josiah H., James Franklin, Sarah Ellen, and Mary Etta. I have visited the town of Bushton and photographed the Peterson headstones in the township cemetery but have not located any relatives that still reside in or around the area. I am the family genealogist and have an extensive Peterson tree including hundreds of old family photographs dating back to the 1860's for anyone related or interested in this family. I am also interested in making contact with the Habinger family in Bushton, Kansas.
