Don,

You might want to check on Elmwood Cemetery in Coffeyville. It is the oldest cemetery in town and was dedicated to Civil War Veterans.

You can find out if your Hudsons were buried there by contacting the Coffeyville City Clerk's Office--they have the list of burials there.

You can contact the City Clerk by calling 620-252-6100 and asking for the City Clerk's office.

My g-grandparents (paternal grandmother's parents) were Bailey W. and Dora B. Hudson. I don't know if there is a connection, but there might be.

Bailey was the son of David and Marget (this is the correct spelling) Hudson. Bailey was born in NE in 1877. David was born in IN about 1854.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
