Looking for information about what happened to Abel/Able Montgomery and his wife Polly. They are in the 1870 census in Irving township, Brown county, but that is the last record I have found of them. They married in Illinois and lived there for some time before moving to Missouri and then Kansas. Their children are:

living with parents in Irving, Brown County according to 1870 census

Abel Montgomery b. 1854 in Illinois
died as an infant and buried in Hanover, Jo Daviess County, Illinois

Hattie Montgomery b. abt 1856 in Illinois
living with parents in Irving, Brown County according to 1870 census

Grace G. Montgomery b. abt 1858 in Illinois
living with parents in Irving, Brown County according to 1870 census
