My ggrandfather came to Gove County. about 1877, worked with the cattle herds for two years, settled in Grainfield in 1879. Married Alice N. Wilson on 11/1/1879 in Minneapolis, MN and they returned to and lived in Grainfield until their death. I am looking for his siblings and parents. The federal census indicates that both of "Jake" Houser's parents were born in Pennsylvania.
