I am Katrina Mary (Torrey)Uffelman, G-Granddaughter of Kathryn Billing Torrey, Daniel Washington White, Mary Thirlwell, Great-niece of Margret White and Pansy (White),Granddaughter of Kathryn Corneila (White)Torrey and Perrin Torrey. They all lived in Pleasanton KS.
My Gram died 2 years ago in Tucson,AZ. We couldn't find any papers or photos of her or family to connected back to KS. I know my Grandfather was a business man owning the funeral parlor, flower place and a cafe in town. My G-Aunt had the beauty parlor which she moved up to the family home up on the hill. There also was a coal mine that the Thirlwell's owned. I don't know where to go for birth/death/marriage papers. If anyone has any info. at all please e me. Even if you "knew" of the families and have stories. Thank you for reading this.
