My Great-grandmother, Katherine Barrett was a Russian born German. She was born 4/8/1871. She came to this country, 1/28/1892, and settled in Lyon County because she had relatives here. My great-grandfather joined her a year later and they were married 8/10/1895, in Lyon County. My Grandmother Mary Batt was born in Lyon County, 6/5/1897. I know that there are many Barret around emporia that I am related to. Does anyone know anything about these families?
