Elizabeth H. ADKINS was born 1832 in Kentucky, her sister Melinda Jane (aka Jane) ADKINS was born 1836 in Missouri. Elizabeth married Jacob EARLY (b 1817) in Jackson County, Missouri in 1849 and they had a son named Benjamin R. Early about 1850. Jane married Larkin BAILEY about 1852 and their daughter Mary Larkin Bailey was born August 1853 in Westport, Jackson County, Missouri (Westport is part of north Kansas City now and the area they lived in is right on the state line with Kansas and the family may have actually been living in either state). I believe Elizabeth and Jane had a brother named David or Daniel Adkins who may have settled in Atchison. Larkin Bailey (b 1830) had a brother named William R. Bailey (b 1832) that I believe settled in Atchison also. Larkin Bailey died about 1855/56, I think there in Atchison and Jane remarried a Robert BLEAZARD (b 1823) about 1857. Jane settled in Buchanan County, Missouri and Elizabeth and eventually Mary settled in Atchison, Kansas. Would like any information anyone can share. Thanks.
