Census Records
The State of Kansas conducted their own census every ten years, starting in 1865 and ending in 1925. 16mm microfilms of the 1865 and 1875 ALL PERSONS INDEX are available for interlibrary loan from the Kansas State Historical Society. The 1885 census is partially indexed, but no microfilms are available. The 1885 indexes that exist have been done by local county genealogy societies. Most can be found in book form. The Kansas State census films are also available via interlibrary loan from KSHS. I dont have a complete link for that page. But if you visit the KSHS home page you can find it
