I am looking for info on the Shumaker family of Atchison and thier branches. I have Harry & Pete Shumaker coming to the Sumner, Ks area about 1860. No records of each, believe came from Carlise, Pa. My grandfather was one of Harrys' sons Frank. Other brothers were Roy and Edwin, bachelors. Sisters were Elsie & Winnie (Hanniff). any help appreciated just starting my search and appears my family were not great record keepers. P.S. I have original town records from Sumner, Ks dated from 1860 to 1890, includes voter lists, land records of Sumner township co., and school board minutes through the years.
