Searching for info on John Christopher Martin.Born 1854 Buffalo N.Y. Came to Kansas in 1875.Worked for railroad in Topeka for 7 yrs.Then came to Geary Co. 1882.Resided in the UPLAND & ALIDA areas. Parents were William & Mary Martin. Siblings were Henry & Emma.1st married to Sophia Kroll, they had 2 daughters, 2nd married to Mary Ellen Thomas Larson.This was also Mary Ellen`s 2nd marriage, her 1st being to Eric Larson.John Christopher was said to have farmed in Geary & Dickinson Co., until he moved to Allen Ks. (Lyon Co.) in 1899. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
