Looking for information on what might have brought William G. Lockwood, wife Hattie Pierson to Parsons area circa 1870. Daughter Frank Free Lockwood (really a girl!) born Nov. 13, 1873. They moved to Michigan about 1875 and ended up in Houston, Tx. I believe Wm. was a merchant but also have a letter addressed to him as Esqr. I would appreciate any lookups that anyone would be willing to do as to where they lived, Frankie's birth,etc and would return the favor for anyone looking for info in Jefferson County, NY. There also may have been a brother named John Lockwood who was with them. I would appreciate any info thank you! Deb Pierce
