Looking for information on my grandmother, Rosa Anne Shindle born 1876 in Worwick to George McClain Shindle and Sarah Moore Shindle. She married John Luther Shoup in Smith County, Kansas 2 March 1897. My father, Virgil Luther Shoop was listed as Virge Laxman on the 1900 Franklin Co. Nebraska census. He was shown as the stepson to John Shoup. I have found information on a Laxman family from Scandia. Jacob Laxman married Margaret Forsman there in Sep of 1883.
