Jenkins (born in Virginia) who was married, and is shown at age 30 as being recorded in the 1880 census and as engaged in the mining operations in that area. Abraham's father was born in Pennsylvania as was his mother. Further confirmed that Mary Jenkins was the mother of Nancy Jenkins. Mary was born in Iowa and was 26 in 1880 census. Her fathers birthplace was Wisconsin and her mothers was Pennsylvania.
Abraham and Mary were the parents of Edwin, Nancy, Rosella, Maybell, Eurenna. All children were born in Missouri except Eurenna who was born in Kansas. Abraham was a miner in 1880. Edwin was a miner in 1880. Nancy married Noah "Butch" Leist and her sister Rosella Fidelia married John Henry Leist (?).
