Looking for information on Ernest William MERRIFIELD. Died 1 Jul 1939 in Wellington, Sumner Co., Kansas. Buried that month in Abilene, Kansas according to obituary in Wellington, Kansas newspaper. He was my grandfather's brother. Would like to find out where he is buried and any reason for him to be buried there. No known connection to Abilene. Perhaps wifes' family was from there? Her last name is not known to me at this time.
