I am looking for anyone with any information about the following:

1. I am the granddaughter of Ed Parks and Malinda Alma Pottroff who met and married in Mound Valley, Kansas. Recently, I came across an old photograph of one of their relatives. "Greewood County" was written on the back. I think the woman in the photo was Ina Parks, sister of Ed. Ed,the youngest of 14 children, was born on the trip from Michigan to Kansas, in the late 1880s. He had a brother Harry Parks who married Malinda's sister, Jessie. Another brother Frank also lived in Mound Valley. I think Ed and Malinda actually lived across the streek from Frank. In 1923, Ed and Malinda moved to Okimah, OK, and operated a feed store. By 1925, they were in McCamey, TX, where Ed operated a highly successful radiator business with Frank Reynolds. They had two children, Forrest, born on the home place in Mound Valley in 1921 and Marguerite, born in McCamey in 1930. By 1944, Ed and family had relocated to Clyde, TX.

2. Malinda and Jesse's mother, "Minnie" Jones. She lived until about 1955. Her first husband probably died about 1915/17. She remarried Philip Gers. I have a family gathering photo made August 1912 on the Jones farm in Kansas. My assumption is that the farm was in Mound Valley because Harry Parks (married Jesse) is in the photo. Malinda is about 15. The significance of the photo is that my grandmother, my great-grandmother, and my great-great grandmother are in this one photo.

3. "Minnie" remarried Philip Gers. According to family stories, Granddad Gers came to America with his older brother as a German stowaway at age 6 or 7. At some point he became an express rider between San Antonio and El Paso. Eventually he settled in Mound Valley and became a Justice of the Peace and perhaps a constable.
