My grandfather Rollo E Schoonover, born 1889 married Pearl Augusta Winn (born 1885 in Rice County). They had two children, Leonard (born in Eureka in 1924) and Ansel (born near 1933 also in Rice County, I believe). I think my great grandfather was Homer Schoonover, and there was an Isaac Schoonover, also known as "Kit". I have not been able to trace anything on them on either side of the family tree, but know their roots were in Rice County, and Rollo and Pearl owned wheat land somewhere in Rice County until it was sold when Rollo died around 1970 in Long Beach, Ca. Pearl died in 1985 in La Jolla, Ca. If you have any info at all on the Schoonover or Winn line, it would give me a good start in tracking our tree, as it is growing rapidly out here in California, and I am getting up in age also....Thanks, Carl Schoonover, son of Leonard.
