George Washington Rice lived in the Bethel Church area in the late 1800's, from about 1876 until about 1890. He was 1st married to Lettie Gibbs, and they had 3 children. George, Willis (Willice), and Carrie. Carrie died as an infant and she and Lettie are buried in the Bethel Church cemetery.

George then married Mary A.(Stevens)Walker who had been married to Jacob or Joseph Walker. George and Mary were listed in the 1895 Kansas state census as living in Concordia.

George, a Civil War veteran who had lost a leg in the Battle of the Wilderness, was removed from the pension records in October, 1902, reason-death. No other details are available.

I am trying to find where George and/or Mary are buried.

Thanks in advance for your help.
