Dear Researchers,
I am looking for information on my g-grandmother, and her four sons, known to have been in Junction City directly after 1805 - until ? My g-grandmother may very well have died there. It is the last place I know her to be.
Ella Montgomery married Fred Harris in 1885 in Hays City, Ellis Co., and started a family. Fred was a lawyer and in practice with Ella's father in Hays as his partner. But in
the 1890's the newspaper accounts go back to just being Montgomery Law Firm, and Ella and her husband have moved on.
Then in 1895, I find an account of Fred Harris' death in Kansas City. But instead of going back to Hays, Ella moves her family to Geary Co., Junction City. She would be there with four small boys, so some other family member must have been a settler there.

Mrs. Harris was a music teacher, and would have been teaching music in Junction City in/around 1895 on into the
1900's. Her oldest son, Montgomery Harris, was listed in the Hays paper as working in the bank in Junction City.
Ella's other three sons were Grant Wilson Harris, Fred Jonathan Harris, Jr., and William Harris.

If anyone can offer any assistance, I would really appreciate it.
