The Kansas State Historical Society has microfilms of several Parsons, KS newspapers from 1887. A couple of dailys and a couple of weeklies. They will ILL the films to your library or local Family History Center. Visit this link and search on Labett County, 1885 - 1887. The results page will list all the newspapers published in the county during that time that the KSHS has films of.
