The Atchison Daily Globe mentions the surname of McMains (in connection with the surname of Beyer) in two articles. I would like to identify the McMains line that these articles refer to.

The first article was published Jan. 30, 1950:
"Mrs. Harry Farris from Hutchinson and Mrs. Paul McMains from Boise, Idaho, are here because of the serious illness of Mrs. Lina Beyers, who seems somewhat improved".

The second article was published July 17, 1957. This article is a legal notice concerning property. Listed as defendants are several persons with the last name of Beyer. Listed as trustees are David Beyer and Leola McMains.

From an entry at Rootsweb World Connect (Our Family Tree, Pat Palmer), I know that (Mary) Leola McMains was the wife of Paul McMains, and a daughter of Lina Beyer.
