Esther Ann (SHARPNACK) WRIGHT & Abram B. WRIGHT are my brick walls. The, both, are buried in the Highland Cemetery, Wichita, Sedgwick County, KS.

I am searching for the parents of both Esther & Abram. They are my 2nd great-grandparents.

I found Esther SHARPNACK and her brother, William SHARPNACK, on the 1850 U.S. Census living in the household of William & Margaret READ (sometimes spelled REED) in Salem, Columbiana Co., OH. The 1880 U.S. Census, Sedgwick Co., KS, lists a Martha REED as living with her son-in-law, Abram B. Wright. I do not know how the READ family and the SHARPNACK children are related.

If Martha REED and Margaret READ are one and the same person, then did she re-marry a READ after the death of her SHARPNACK husband? I have never been able to tie the READ / REED name and the SHARPNACK name together.

Please help. Can someone look on the funeral records at the Highland Cemetery to see if parents' names are listed. I would greatly appreciate your kind generosity, as I am legally blind and cannot read the information for myself.
