I am looking for links to the Knowles family. My gg grandmother was Asenath Knowles, b. 1815 in Ross Co., OH, who married Thomas Shockley also of Ross Co. They arrived in Lyon County about 1854. I have not been able to document Asenath's connection to the Ephraim Knowles who was descended from "Old Silverhead" Knowles of Delaware, although the evidence points that way.
I know there were other Knowleses in Lyon County. Does anyone have family records showing Asenath as a possible sibling to your Knowles ancestors?
